The Journal has achieved an impact factor of 2.482 in ISI's Journal Citation Reports for 2009. This report covers citations of JOSPT articles published in 2007 and 2008.
Read for Credit Approved for Certified Athletic Trainers
JOSPT's Read for Credit program has been accepted by the Board of Certification, Inc. as a BOC Approved Provider of continuing education for BOC Certified Athletic Trainers. Effective immediately, athletic trainers and dual credentialed physical therapists may take and pass any of the article quizzes available on the JOSPT website and receive 0.2 continuing education units, or 2 contact hours of credit, toward their CE requirements. Please visit http://www.jospt.org/issues/credits.asp for an explanation of the program and the list of articles and associated quizzes.

JOSPT offers downloadable presentation slides for all imaging features published in 2008 and 2009 and has now posted slides of figures and tables for selected articles published from January 2009 to date. These PowerPoint slides, which may be downloaded from JOSPT's website and saved, include the article title, authors, and full citation. With each article where this feature is available, click “View Slides” and then right click on the link and select “Save Target As”.
Read Abstracts in Other Languages
Reflecting JOSPT's growing international audience, readers may now read article abstracts not only in English, but also in 4 additional languages. Articles published in the Journal from January 2008 forward are available in French, Brazilian Portuguese, Continental Portuguese, and Spanish as well as English.

Search Articles From 1979
JOSPT’s online article archives are now complete. You can search and view articles published from 1979 to date by clicking on PREVIOUS ISSUES in the left-hand navigation bar of the Journal’s website. Next, select the issue year and month you wish to view, and the table of contents for that issue will appear. Articles dated 2002 and older are open to all to view. Full-text access to more recent articles requires either membership in APTA’s Orthopaedic or Sports Physical Therapy Sections or a subscription to JOSPT. To subscribe, please go to "My JOSPT", register as a guest, and select "My Subscriptions" to purchase a 12-month subscription to the Journal.
Subscribe to JOSPT RSS Feeds
JOSPT now offers RSS issue feeds. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as article titles and abstracts. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various sources, including JOSPT. Feeds provide each issue's titles, authors, abstracts, and links to full-text articles. Go to the RSS symbol on JOSPT's home page to view and subscribe to these issue feeds.
